I had the pleasure of attending the Flare/Joe Fresh party last week. It was loads of fun: discounted shopping, yummy eats + delicious treats, great live music, beautiful, stylish people, and one heck of a swag bag. Doesn’t get better than that.
Here’s what I wore: Nothing fancy, just comfy chic with some bap-tap-highlighter-all-up-in-your-face-knit-sweater because I want spring to come so hella…no….HEYLA BHAD.

Spring is just around the corner, and I am so very excited!
Do you find that you have so much more variety (and more in general) in summer pieces than you do winter?
Do I really need that many shorts and skirts for a total of 3 months of the year?
Yes. Yes I do.
Summer puts us in a good mood, and good moods = good shopping moods. Good shopping moods lead to empty wallet mood. Oh well, at least we look good, whatever mood we’re in!
Oh colours, how I’ve missed you!

I’ve pranced around the office in this outfit and when the weather gets warmer, I would replace those boots with some pretty, feminine high heels.
The things you can do with statement pieces! And these Rag & Bone boots are the S%#$! They are my go to boot for almost any occasion and go with everything!

Happy holidays everyone!

Hope everyone enjoyed unwrapping presents, and stuffing your faces with food…but most importantly spent some good quality time with loved ones….and now…
Happy boxing week shopping! Har har har. Cheers to good sales and karate chopping your wallet apart. I know I will be!

I can’t get enough of these colours. I constantly repeat them because they never get old. They give you an elegant, sophisticated look. Slap on your favourite bright lipstick for a pop of colour to enhance earth-tones and make them richer!

That’s one crazy bun on my head! I look so much taller.

Totally enjoying my summer so far! How about you?
I’m not complaining, I love the heat. Ya’ll better enjoy it! Before you know it, summer will fly by!
And since the heat is officially here, I grant batty rider permission!

Fish tail braids are my new obsession (besides hearts),  I rock it almost every day! It’s a great quick fix for a bad hair day, and keeps it in place for those of us that have mega long locks.
Tees/shorts/sneaks – one of my favourite combos. Adding a little “blang” to your comfy caj or basics makes it that much more fun.
