I was never the biggest fan of all black under recently.
Leather or “pleather” skinnies really spruce up your wardrobe and make your all black outfits look amazing. They’re also a little more exciting than your everyday black cotton/rayon leggings. Read my rules on leggings vs. pants rule here, which I still stand true and strong about.
Bottom line, black is always slimming, safe, elegant and classic. Mix different textures together and see what you come up with. Statement pieces like crazy chunky necklaces or stacking arm parties paired with basics is my favourite way to accessorize. It’s all about balance.

Today, I was looking for the perfect high-waited ponts (FAIL). BTW has anyone else noticed how inconsistent American Apparel fittings are??!?!!? I tried on 10 pairs of the same ponts in the same size (yes, I said PONTS), and they ALL fit differently! Weird. Either that or my booty couldn’t fit in dem jeans!
Since I failed on my mission, I stumbled on some cute new nail polishes at AA to somewhat make up for the disappointment and treated myself to a 3 for $17.50 red light special.
