the brunch fixe.

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending “The Brunch Fixe”, hosted by handsome fashawn mens; Jay Strut and Christian Confidential at Toronto’s Kultura restuarant located on King street east.
The lovely afternoon started off with bumpin’ music, sippin’ on delicious “Jay Strut” or “Christian Confidential” signature cocktails, while chatting with some of Toronto’s most fashionable and beautiful people.
Cocktail hour was then followed by a yummy-in-my-tummy 3 course brunch-a-roonie, with some sweet and sour treats on the side in between courses. GEEZ! Every Sunday should be as Funday as this!
T’was the perfect way to start the spring season in the Tdot!

I’m so looking forward to the next one! Keep your eyes peeled for the next Brunch Fixe event. Follow Jay or Christian on twitter! Maybe I’ll see you there? Come and say hello! :)
My outfit details at the brunch to come soon! See you again.
xoxo,

fantasy farm.

This is probably one of the longest posts I’ve done. Reason being – I was lucky to attend one of the most unique + ridiculously fun weddings to date. There’s no way I couldn’t share this with all of you!
The beautiful wedding (with a ‘carnival chic’ dress-code) took place on the ever-so-lovely Puck’s Farm, in Schomberg. Everyone looked KILLER in their outfits! Bride and groom looked spectacular. Overwhelmingly dope. I couldn’t handle it. Everyone had their own interpretation of ‘carnival chic’, and there was no right or wrong. I just love costume themed parties and events when it’s not Hallowe’en. People took creativity and sportsmanship to the next friggen planet. So. Amaze.

As if the costume theme wasn’t enough, cocktail hour included hay rides, a cow to milk (who was pissed by the end of the day…I would be too), a bouncy castle, games, fresh candy apples, and more!!! Giddy up!
On top of the delicious BBQ dinner and homemade strawberry cakes was the hoedown line dancing in the barn; stompin’ and dosey doe’in to Big Tobacco and the Pickers; meat pies and Mombacho cigars were served as the midnight snacks;
tables, chairs and doors were used instead of good ‘ol fashioned firewood for the biggest-fire-I-have-ever-seen bon-fire after party.

Still not convinced? If waking up to a llama with his posse of sheep in front of your tent doesn’t excite you, ya’ll be trippin’.

Joline and Markus, congratulations gorgeous love birds! You guys always throw down one H-E-double-hockey-sticks of a hoedown!

YEE-HAW!

bolzano, or bust.

Ok. This isn’t much of a style/outfit post, but how could I not share this with everyone?
When you think of Italy, the first things that come to mind are: pasta, pizza, wine, gelato, churches, statues and the Colosseum  – just to name a few.
My friends took me on an all day motorcycle adventure to the beautiful town of Bolzano (just shy of the Austrian border); where the air is crispy fresh, people speak German, the apples taste like dreams, the cheese is to die for, and you’re so high up in the mountains that you’re chillin’ with the clouds. We stopped and ate lunch at Torgglkeller, where we ate cheese, bread and meats in its finest, along with one hell of a view!

It was the perfect day. It was all the things that don’t come to mind first, when you think of Italy. Literally refreshing.
No amount of photographs or video (which I took plenty of, anyhow) could re-tell the beauty I saw through the many towns we had past in South Tyrol. You just have to see it for yourself to understand.
The mountains completely tripped me out. I felt like I was in a scene of the Sound of Music, or that I jumped into a Natrel Milk carton. The views!!! The views and scenery were absolutely breathtaking. Geez. Yeah…I went overboard on the mountain view pics, sorry…but hey, I don’t get see this everyday!

Despite the fact that we were exhausted, we still partied afterwards ;) obrigado to my Gustosas!

I hope you enjoyed my tiny glimpse into Bolzano.
