royal winter fair.

Wow. Just realized this is my first outfit post of 2014. Dang! I finally found a moment when it wasn’t frost-bite degrees to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and lighting snow has to offer.
This has got to be one of my favourite looks to wear. The classic equestrian/rider look. I get a lot of “hey where’s your horse?” or “going riding today?” comments. Haha. Yes and yes. It’s all good, I guess people get it!
Nothing screams elegance like detailed knits, skinny trousers and dem knee-high boots, not to mention the ability to accessorize for days. You’ll look straight outta Ralph Lauren’s look-book. Timeless, classic, elegant, sleek, smart… we like all of those things in a lady.
Loving my Zara leather zip gloves! They are versatile with all kinds of looks!

I need a tan.

Brrrr… hai all!
Love turning my summer gear into winter pieces. You can layer any skirt with opaque tights and come up with all kinds of looks to bear the cold.
Some of my 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target pieces I haven’t shown you yet. So in love with this patterned blouse. It brightens any solid and gives so much depth. And this tote tho! You can fit a picnic in it!
This Wilfred crepe blazer from Aritzia, it’s a part of me. One of the best layering pieces I have. Throw it on anything and I guarantee, it’ll go with it. What a homie. ;)
Black booties are a must! These wedge beauties are from Sam Edelman, chic and comfortable. My kind of style!

A fashionable, sophisticated professional look for the office!

earthy-2

down to earth.

What? Wait. What do you mean it’s November?

Is anybody still out there? I went bananas on another hiatus full of weddings, events, birthdays and life in general, so I apologize for my absence and I THANK YOU for still reading this! <3
Fall is my 2nd favourite season (next to summer) full of layers, chunky sweaters, scarves and toights. Yeah, I said toights.  Options start to get a little nutty and I take just a little longer getting ready because of that.
Also. Who doesn’t love an earth tone palette? Fall colours are so rich and beautiful, you can really extend your wardrobe, and play mix and match with warm shades vs. cool tones.

I love, love love, these Jeffery Campbell oxford cut out flats. They are the cutest in the summer and sophisticated in the fall. I just can’t handle how amazing they are. One of my most favourite pairs of shoes ever.

What are your favourite fall items?

street spirit.

Hi all! Hope you enjoyed the weekend.

Here’s my first installment of my 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target haul. I’ve checked out twitter and I’m loving all the combos I’m seeing. Everyone’s doing great on pairings! That BOOM! sweater gets so much play, I never get tired of seeing it….maybe because it looked horrible on me and I ended up leaving it behind :(
So here’s mine. I just love the chunky knit sweater I scooped up with the jeweled detailing on the one side. I copped it in a medium for some saggy loose bags action. I love my tops over sized, (most of the time) so much I forget what I look like under there.
This zipper crossbody tho!!! Perfection and class. Love it.
Stay tuned for more 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target haul action packs!
